July 18th, 2008 - Silent Hill Homecoming also arriving on PC

July 7th, 2008 - Silent Hill Homecoming gets rated by the ESRB
It will come as no surprise that the U.S. rating board E.S.R.B. (Entertainment Software Rating Board) have given Silent Hill Homecoming a "Mature" rating due to:
Blood and Gore, Intense Violence, Language and Sexual Themes.
Interestingly a "Windows PC" version is listed as one of the formats of the game on the E.S.R.B. website. A PC version hasn't been officially confirmed in the official press release by Konami but it looks as though there could be one sometime in 2009. Probably early next year. However until Konami make an announcement regarding a PC version this information can't be classed as official yet. We will update you on this when it becomes available.
Silent Hill: Homecoming is due out simultaneously on the XBOX 360 and Playstation 3 at the end of September this year across Europe and the United States.

Today gamersyde.com published two new gameplay videos of the upcoming Silent Hill Homecoming. The first video shows some footage of the hospital, while the second shows us some more footage of the graveyard.

May 15th, 2008 - Interview with Silent Hill Homecoming Lead Designer
SilentHill5.net has an exclusive interview with Silent Hill Homecoming lead designer Jason Allen. Some of his answers include:
-"We do have difficulty settings, affecting just gameplay. Puzzles have a single difficulty level only."
-"Silent Hill: Homecoming is not a free form game, nor is it a completely linear experience. The best description would be one of 'Managed' exploration."

GamesRadar just made an interview with the game's composer and consultant Akira Yamaoka:
-"I utilized 5.1ch surround technology and such for the first time in the series."
-"I haven't got the final size of the soundtrack yet, but I believe there are around 30 tracks."
